A driver suspected of being intoxicated was arrested yesterday (Monday) evening after an aggressive hit and run incident near Grandview, according to Yakima County Sheriff deputies.
The motorist allegedly followed another car, scaring the victim, then read-ended the victim's car when she turned onto another road. The victim had minor injuries.
Deputies also investigated a reported car prowl near Sunnyside yesterday.
Since last Friday, deputies have handled two reports of theft, including a case of hay bales being stolen near Mabton.
Deputies also investigated four reports of suspicious activity, three accidents, an automatic alarm and a citizen dispute.
Deputies also responded to a report of a dog shot by a horse owner for chasing the horses and are investigating the killing of several sheep by a neighbor's dog.
