GRANDVIEW - Efforts are currently underway in the Grandview School District to create a district-wide grading and reporting policy for grades kindergarten through 12.

13-year-old shooting victim in stable condition

A 13-year-old Sunnyside girl, who was the victim of a drive-by shooting last Wednesday night, is currently in stable condition, according to Sunnyside Police Public Information Officer Charlotte Hinderlider.

Due to a power outage at Mabton High School this past Friday the Vikings' home game against the Eagles was moved to Connell. It didn't matter as the Vikings beat the Eagles 60-53 on Friday night and then walloped the Wahluke Warriors 68-25 on Saturday.
