The Rotary Rotaplast volunteer team in Central Washington is preparing to send a Rotaplast team to India in April and the team is asking for donations of baby quilts to take to patients that will be treated at the hospital in Udaipur, India.
The Rotaplast tradition is to give a handmade quilt to each child who undergoes surgery. The teams normally treat between 60-100 patients in a 10-day medical mission.
New (or gently used) small stuffed animals are also needed. Every child is given a stuffed animal whether they are treated or not, so lots of stuffed animals are needed.
Anyone who would like to donate a quilt can send them to Rotaplast 5060, 400 N. Pearl St., Ellensburg, WA, 98926.
Quilts can also be arranged to be picked up by e-mailing email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
