Esther Urbina Gomez, 48, of Pasco and a former resident of Grandview passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at her home.

She was born April 11, 1962 in Prosser to Francisco and Pureza Urbina.

She attended schools in Grandview.

She had worked at Grandview Healthcare Center.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Grandview.

She is survived by her parents, Francisco and Pureza Urbina of Pasco; her sisters, Olivia (Justin Freeman) Lopez of Grandview, Janie (Arnold Rodriguez) Lopez of Pasco and Raquel (Jesus) Villagrana of Grandview; four brothers, Frank Urbina of Pasco, Manuel (Tracie) Urbina of Prosser, Robert (Clara) Urbina of Pasco and Tony Urbina of Grandview; her companion, Martin Hermosillo of Grandview; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Emelia Valerio and Benito Valerio, Domacio and Epemenia Urbina; and one niece, Mikaila Urbina; and several aunts and uncles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at 1 p.m., at Blessed Sacrament Church in Grandview. A reception will be held at the Eagles in Sunnyside at 3 p.m. following the service.

Hillcrest Bruce Lee Memorial Center in Pasco is in charge of arrangements.
