Blueberries, strawberries, cherries...we've been enjoying the fruits of this valley quite a bit lately.
That doesn't include vegetables growing aplenty, like the cherry tomatoes from Joni's garden that we're already enjoying on our salads.
It's this availability of fresh produce that is one of the reasons our valley is a great place to call home.
I know the milder temperatures we're having this summer are not good for some of the plants, but to have temps in the 80s during late July with all this produce at our fingertips...well, it's making for an enjoyable summer to get out and about.
All in all, it's a season that prompts one to literally go picking-and-a-grinning.
