Grandview plans clean-up days in April

GRANDVIEW - The city of Grandview will offer two free spring clean-up days for its residents.

The dates are Saturday, April 16, and Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days at the public works shop at 603 N. Willoughby.

Both clean-up dates are at no charge to Grandview residents. Those participating must produce proof of city residence, such as a driver's license and/or a water bill.

No vehicle batteries, automotive parts or hazardous waste will be accepted.

City officials also note that a $5 fee will be charged for each appliance dropped off at the spring clean-up site. A $5 fee will also be assessed for each truck tire and a $1 fee for each car tire.
