Lorraine A. Inglis, 92, of Zillah passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, surrounded by her closest family.

She was born Lorraine Anne Chenaur on Dec. 29, 1918 to John and Lillian (Larson) Chenaur in Zillah. She graduated from Zillah High School.

Her first husband, Edwin (Ed) McClure had E & H Motors in Toppenish, and was a founding member and the first president of Central Valley Bank. They retired in 1965 to Salishan on the Oregon Coast.

Lorraine split her time between there and Sun Lakes, Ariz., with her second husband, Peter Inglis.

Lorraine's main interests were in raising her two daughters, gardening, traveling, golfing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She moved to Crooked River Ranch, Ore. from Sun Lakes, Ariz. in 1995 to live next to her daughter, Betty (Gene) Moe, and to be closer to her other daughter, Shirley (Dennis) Goode, who lives in Tigard.

She is survived by both her daughters; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her identical twin, Maxine Chenaur Whiting; one brother, Bruce Chenaur; both husbands, Edwin McClure and Peter Inglis; two sisters; and two other brothers.

Burial will be held at Zillah Cemetery.

Bel-Air Colonial Funeral Home in Madres, Ore. is in charge of arrangements.
