Breaking News: Outlook residents escape harm in drive-by shooting

Jo Anne (Morrow) Cochran, 75, of Renton, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Evergreen Hospice Center in Kirkland.

Jo was born Jan. 3, 1936 to Pervis and Nell Ruth Morrow.

Jo loved Mariners baseball and March Madness basketball. She amazed us with her memory of players' names and nicknames (her own).

Her good sense of humor, strong will and feisty spirit will be dearly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Renton; two sons, Kevin and Kurt, both of Renton; one daughter, Krystal of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Larry Morrow of Yakima and Ronald Morrow of Sunnyside; one sister, Norma (Morrow) Morris of Grandview; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Arnold Morrow.

No services are planned. A celebration of Jo's life will be held in early spring.

Personal Alternative Funeral Services in Kent are in charge of arrangements.

I give you this one thought to keep

I am with you still, I do not sleep

I am a thousand winds that blow

I am the diamond glints on snow

I am the sunlight on ripened grain

I am the gentle autumn rain

When you awaken in morning's hush

I am the swift, uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight

I am the soft stars that shine at night

Do not think of me as gone

I am with you still in each new dawn
