Benefit dinner a success thanks to numerous efforts

I would like to thank everyone who helped make the benefit dinner for Sandy Pascua a wonderful evening.

There were many people and organizations that provided time, energy and resources to make this event a success, including the Daily Sun News; Steve Hester from Baker Produce; Garry and Pat Decker; Lainey Rodriguez; St. Joseph Catholic Church; the Common Cents Group; the Yakima and Lower Valley Filipino community; the Sunnyside School District administration; the Sunnyside School District food service; the staff at Washington Elementary, Chief Kamiakin elementary and Sun Valley elementary schools; the Sunnyside Presbyterian Church; the Yakima Herald; and the Tri-City Herald.

The outpouring of love and support shown to Sandy from our community was heart-warming and remarkable to witness. Those wishing to make a donation, which will go toward Sandy's medical expenses and vehicle modifications, may do so at Bank of America in Sandy's name.
