This Saturday, May 21, a free smart phone workshop will be held in Sunnyside from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at U.S. Cellular, 2010 Yakima Valley Highway, Suite 34.
The workshop will guide customers through all of the functions and features of U.S. Cellular's Android-powered devices, BlackBerry and Windows smart phones. All questions are welcome from current and potential smart phone users, and the workshop will cover both basic and advanced uses.
Associates will answer questions and demonstrate common features such as e-mail access, web browsing, calendar synchronization and browsing for apps.
Attendees can also learn how U.S. Cellular's high-speed nationwide network can boost their smart phone experience.
"Workshops are great for new smart phone owners or anyone who wants to make sure they are getting the most out of their handsets. Our associates enjoy helping customers personalize their devices to fit their lifestyles," said Joe Cabrera, Director of Sales for U.S. Cellular in Washington and Oregon.
The workshops are open to current smart phone owners and anyone interested in upgrading to a smart phone. Attendees do not have to be a U.S. Cellular customer.
