Benefit dance to aid Mabton man

A benefit dance will be held on Friday, May 27, at PrimoCell Expo Center in Sunnyside.

Proceeds from the dance will be used for medical and travel costs incurred by Jaime Peralez of Mabton, who is currently a patient at Seattle's Swedish Hospital receiving treatment for a brain aneurism.

The benefit dance will be held at PrimoCell Expo Center located at 2600 Yakima Valley Highway.

The benefit will begin at 8 p.m., with music starting at 9 p.m. It is open to people 18 years old and up, and the cost is $10.

The benefit will feature five bands, including Grupo Capricho from Pasco, Los Emociantes from Wapato, Tejano Knights from Sunnyside, Adixxion from Sunnyside and Rival Norteno from Moses Lake.

A D.J. from In Your Face Productions will also be at the benefit.

The benefit has been organized by the Pacific Northwest Tejano Music Organization, of which Peralez is a board member.
