Josepha Salinas, 84, of Prosser died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, in Prosser.

She was born March 11, 1927 in Edinburg, Texas.

She is survived by three sons, Juan Salinas of Grandview, Ray Salinas of Yakima and Senovio Salinas of Kirkland; three daughters, Rosa Ruiz Dequio of Mesa, Olga Rodriguez of Yakima and Emila Salinas of Kennewick; one brother, Regino Alaniz of Texas; and four sisters, Hortencia Sequva of Yakima, Juanita Angola of Phoenix, Maria Pacheco of Pasco and Francisca Jimenez of Fresno, Calif.

Viewing will be held Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser, with Christian Burial to follow at Prosser Cemetery.

Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in charge of arrangements.
