The Yakima Basin Storage Alliance recently announced the annual Salmon Walk set for later this month.
The event, which gives a view of spawning salmon, is hosted by fish biologist Bob Tuck. He provides tours to the general public, as well as for school field trips.
The viewings this year will be held in the upper Cle Elum River, above Lake Cle Elum, and in the American River, near Chinook Pass.
In addition, Sockeye will be spawning in the Cle Elum River.
Chuck Klarich with the storage alliance says the Salmon Walk events should start in mid-to-late September.
