For the first time ever, Washington State University's Tri-Cities campus will host a grant writing seminar.
'Strategies for Winning Grant Proposals Seminar,' coordinated by WSU's office of Grant and Research Development, is set for Friday, Sept. 16, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Pre-registration cost is $89, and after Sept. 9, registration is $99, lunch is included with the registration fee.
The morning will begin with a general session titled, "Deep Strategy and Tactics." Dr. Eric Shulenberger will focus on knowing exactly what to do, why and how to do it. He plans to focus the lecture on two critical groups of people who select and review funding proposals: program managers and reviewers.
Participants can choose from two seminars for the afternoon session: "Finding Funding - Strategies, Tools and Tips to Find Grant Funding for Your Project,"
and "Broader Impacts." The seminar is a full day ending at 4:30 p.m.
Those who want to register for the seminar can visit www.tricity.wsu.edu, or call 509-335-9661.
