Customers of Sunnyside New Holland, and those thinking about frequenting the tractor and farm supply outlet that is now under new ownership, are invited to an open house this coming Thursday, April 12.
Those who attend any part of the nearly day-long event are advised to bring their appetites with them. That's because a rib-hugging lunch will be served by the Sunnyside Christian High School FFA officers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., free of charge to all visitors.
Besides getting the opportunity to view up-close all of the equipment that Sunnyside New Holland now carries, open house-goers will have several special events they can either watch or take part in.
Sunnyside New Holland General Manager Andy Elliott said the first of those events is a hay baler clinic that will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Following the clinic, the Sunnyside tractor dealership will hold two contests, each lasting from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"We're going to have a tractor ride-and-drive course set up, as well as a mower ride-and-drive contest," said Elliott, adding that prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.
Elliott noted that KXDD Radio will also be hosting live, on-site broadcasts from the grounds of Sunnyside New Holland sporadically throughout the day. Those who attend the customer open house, Elliott added, will have a chance to win tickets from KXDD, to the Dirk Bentley concert that will take place on the SunDome stage in Yakima on Friday, April 20.
"It should be a fun day for all of our customers and friends," said Elliott.
