Julian S. Almaguer, 33, of Auburn passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, in Auburn.
Julian was born March 29, 1979 in Sunnyside to Jesse Almaguer and Linda Samaniego.
He received his education in Sunnyside.
On March 25, 2006 Julian married Codie Marie Fearrien at the Neighborhood Church of God in Sunnyside.
Julian worked with his hands. He was employed as a construction worker building houses. Most recently he was working as a mechanic.
Julian cherished time spent with his family and friends.
He loved barbeque, camping, fixing cars, dirt bike riding, being outdoors, hiking and walks by the river.
He was a true "kid" at heart. He would love to spend hours playing with his kids. They enjoyed playing rockets, fireworks, remote controlled planes and anything that was active and outside. He also really enjoyed collecting tools.
Julian was a true family man. There was nothing that he wouldn't do or give to help out a family member or friend that was in need. He was an honest and loving person and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Julian is survived by his loving wife, Codie Marie Almaguer of Auburn; his children, Gillian Jasmyne Almaguer, Julian Samaniego Almaguer Jr., Evangeline Galena Almaguer and Tristen Ethaniel Almaguer, all of Auburn; his mother, Linda Samaniego; siblings, Venus (Adrian) Rodriguez, Jessica Almaguer, Jeremiah (Evelyn) Samaniego, Bobby (Angie) Bazan and Jesse Almaguer; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Almaguer; daughter, Jasmyne Almaguer; his grandfather, Francisco Samaniego; and uncle, Armando Samaniego.
Viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
