Golf tourney to benefit GHS students

RICHLAND - Raising college scholarship funds for students at Grandview High School is the impetus behind a golf tournament that will be held Saturday, Aug. 25, at Richland's Columbia Point Golf Course.

The Morales Memorial Scholarship/Dollars for Scholars 18-hole, four-person scramble at the Richland course will get underway at 1 p.m. on Aug. 25. A special attraction at the tournament will be the appearance of University of Washington legend and former Denver Bronco football player Greg Lewis.

Sign-ups for the tourney are underway now. Team entry fees are set at $320, or individuals can register at a cost of $80 and be placed on a team. The entry fee includes the cost of an 18-hole round, the use of a power cart and lunch. Prizes for the top finishers will be awarded, and special raffle prizes will be offered. Teams or individuals can register by contacting Ted Morales (509-947-2382).
