Monholland back-to-back low scorer in ladies play

Sunnyside's Carol Monholland has been on quite the roll in 18-hole ladies play at Black Rock Creek Golf Course.

This past Tuesday she fired an 86 to capture low gross of field honors. Enroute to posting the low score she snared birdies on the par-5 third and par-4 seventh holes. And, Monholland needed just 29 putts to complete her 18-hole round.

The previous Tuesday, Aug. 7, Monholland also was the low scorer in ladies play, carding a 5-over-par 77. The same day, Sunnyside's Connie Davis claimed low net of field honors, shooting a handicap-aided 71. The "low putts" winner on Aug. 7 was Patti Hart of Sunnyside, who needed just 31 putts to complete her round.

This past Tuesday, Aug. 14, Hart and Lucille Rohman tied for low net of field honors, each recording handicap-aided 73's.
