The Lady Greyhounds' trip to Othello was a pleasant one for the visiting team as Grandview dominated their hosts by a score of 73-18 last Friday.
The Vikings were no match for the Lady Greyhounds on Saturday, either. Grandview won their home game 80-57 against Selah.
Two Lady Greyhounds scored 30 points in the win against Selah. Marissa Caballero led the team with 31 points while Payton Parrish contributed another 30. Breanna Lopez and Jamila Shafer both bucketed six points for Grandview.
The Lady Greyhounds held off the Vikings for a 20-18 lead in the first quarter, and it never got closer than that as Grandview widened its lead to seven points at the half, then outscored Selah 42-26 in the second half.
Parrish led the Lady Greyhounds in rebounds with eight while teammate Samantha Grove pulled in another six loose balls.
Grandview didn't give the Huskies a chance in Friday's game. Parrish bucketed 20 points for the Lady Greyhounds. Grove and Caballero each added 13 points to the score and Lopez put in another 12 points.
"The girls had a good weekend and I am proud of the effort both nights," said Grandview Coach David Gibb. "We look forward to the challenges that lay ahead for us this week when we travel to West Valley on Tuesday and are home against Wapato on Thursday."
Grandview is now 3-1 in league play and 4-2 overall.
