Harold Lindsey, 67, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and a former Sunnyside resident passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

He was born Nov. 30, 1945 in Great Falls, Mont. to Howard and Dorothy Lindsey. He received his education in Brady, Mont., and after graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Vietnam veteran. After his discharge from the military he lived in Seattle and worked for Boeing. He later moved to the Yakima Valley and settled in the Sunnyside area.

He worked for many years for Green Valley Implement and he also worked for several ranches as a shop mechanic.

He returned to Montana and drove long haul trucks.

Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, playing and listening to old time country music.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby of Rathdrum, Idaho; Jason of Gillette, Wyo., Ronnie of Missouri and Gary of Bozeman, Mont.; daughters, Vicki of Post Falls, Idaho and Kimberly of Rathdrum, Idaho; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Lila Dunn of Choteau., Mont. and Donna Rodriguez of Outlook.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and former wives, Carolyn Morrow and Marg Goetz.

No services will be held at this time. Plans to spread his ashes in the mountains of Montana are set for the spring.

English Funeral Home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is in charge of arrangements.
