'Yes' vote< will help youth succeed

Please join me in voting YES for the replacement maintenance and operation school levy on Feb. 14.

The Sunnyside School District currently has the second lowest school tax in Yakima County, and will continue to be the second lowest if passed. A yes vote will tremendously benefit our students and keep our school tax rate low.

By voting yes, the new tax will be $1.51 per $1,000 of assessed property value. If defeated, the tax will increase to $1.91 per $1,000 assessed property value.

Passing the replacement maintenance and operation school levy will provide funding for safety and security, student activities, enriched academics and curriculum and technology for our students and schools in Sunnyside.

Let's vote yes for the school levy, and give Sunnyside's youth the best opportunity to succeed!
