GRANDVIEW - The board of directors for New Vision-Yakima County Development Association will meet this coming Thursday, June 12, at the Grandview Community Center.
The meeting is open to the public, but an RSVP is encouraged by calling 509-575-1140.
To be discussed during the 5:30 p.m. hosted dinner meeting will be the Yakima Valley's future water supply and how the Yakima Valley economy can be sustained.
Derek Sandison of the Washington State Department of Ecology's Columbia River office and Yakima County Commissioner Mike Leita will be the featured speakers.
Also on the agenda will be discussions regarding companies evaluating the Yakima region for new facilities and jobs, and how New Vision is helping local entrepreneurs and established employers.
The meeting is an opportunity to meet community leaders involved with New Vision and the Yakima County Development Association.
The Grandview Community Center is located at 812 Wallace Way next to Grandview's Country Park and Amphitheatre.
