'A Night Out' in Prosser set for this September

PROSSER - The Prosser Memorial Hospital Foundation is preparing for the 13th annual "A Night Out" benefit auction and dinner, to be held Saturday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 11 p.m. at the Yellow Rose Nursery and Display Gardens in Prosser.

The theme for this year will be "Denim and Diamonds" and the meal will be catered by Chef Magaña of Prosser. Two of this year's big sponsors are Kadlec Health Systems and Mercer Estates.

Dan Burns 3D Productions of Pendleton will supply the night's music. Snipes Mountain Brewery, Whitstran Brewing Company and Blue Flame Spirits will be present along with a number of local wineries for tastings.

The auction is gathering items and already has a number of getaway packages, winery dinners and tickets to Disneyland with more items coming in as the event draws nearer.

The event raises money for the Prosser Memorial Hospital Foundation and is one of the premier charity events in the Yakima Valley, hosting more than 450 guests each year.

Tickets cost $100 for an individual and $1,200 for a table. The tickets are already half sold-out and are expected to be completely sold-out within two weeks of the event.
