Volleyball camp for girls in mid-June

First year Sunnyside High School volleyball coach Sandy Jaquish is recruiting fifth through eighth grade girls for a one-day volleyball camp, slated to be held Saturday, June 16, at Chief Kamiakin Elementary School.

The camp will be broken down into two sessions, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m.

The $15 registration fee entitles each girl to receive a camp t-shirt. Sign-ups must be completed no later than Wednesday, June 13. Sign-ups are ongoing now at the Sunnyside High School ASB office.

Jaquish, as well as Sunnyside High School's assistant coaches and players will be serving as camp instructors during the June 16 event. Jaquish said the one-day camp is an opportunity for girls interested in playing competitive volleyball to have fun and sharpen their skills.
