Motorcycle collision injures Sunnyside man

DAYTON - A 50-year-old man from Sunnyside was involved in a motorcycle collision three miles outside of Dayton this past Saturday evening.

Sunnyside's Louis R. Arquette was riding his 2010 Harley Davison near the center line westbound on State Route 12. Another motorcycle, ridden by John and Lena Christensen, both aged 49 of Moses Lake, was in the same lane slightly behind him.

When Arquette moved to the right within the lane, according to the WSP, the second motorcycle struck his, damaging both vehicles and injuring all three riders.

John Christensen was transported to Dayton General via ambulance. No information about Lena Christensen's injuries was available. The Christensens' motorcycle had to be removed from the scene.

Arquette had minor injuries and was able to drive away from the accident on his motorcycle.

All three riders were wearing helmets.
