Grandview art classes on tap mid-July

GRANDVIEW - The Grandview Parks and Recreation Department will host classes in drawing, design, composition, perspective and painting beginning mid-July.

The classes are slated for Tuesdays and Wednesdays, July 10 and 11, 17 and 18, 24 and 25, and July 31 and Aug. 1. All classes are scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. and participants ages 13 and older are welcome to register.

At the culmination of the courses an art show and dessert event is slated for Friday, Aug. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Pre-registration is now being accepted at the Grandview Parks and Recreation office, located at 812 Wallace Way. Participants can also register on site on the day of the classes.

Classes will be held at the Grandview Community Center dining hall near the fairgrounds and the cost for the courses start at $20.
