Mezger also noted that though Sunnyside won't be in action again until the April 14 Pasco Invite, Grizzly track athletes are organizing a 5K community fun run fundraiser next Saturday, April 7.
Mezger said the fun run will start at the SHS tennis courts and finish at the SHS track.
He said the event will start at 9 a.m. for competitive runners, 9:45 a.m. for walkers and 11 a.m. for a kids one-mile run.
He said the cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children and all participants will receive a Grizzly t-shirt. Proceeds will benefit the SHS track program, Mezger said.
