Candidate filing period begins May 14

Those seeking to have their names on the summer and fall election ballots can begin filing for the public offices next Monday, May 14.

The Yakima County Auditor's Office will be conducting candidate filings for the 2012 elections May 14 through May 18.

Candidates for the 15th Legislative District are now required to file with the Yakima County Auditor's Office. 14th Legislative District candidates are required to file their declaration with the Washington State Secretary of State.
