Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't one of the tasks of those currently employed by the cemetery located on the corner of Van Belle and Cemetery, is to make sure the grass, weeds, empty beer bottles and the like do not obscure the markers of those who are buried there?
My sister visited the Sunnyside cemetery last Friday, only to find a very pitiful sight as the area was over grown with grass and weeds, while our mother's grave marker was barely visible. She is seriously considering bringing a gas-powered weed wacker next time.
This might be acceptable during other times of the year, but leading up to Memorial Day is not showing a good sign by the employees, who for the most part could be replaced by sheep and goats.
