Sunnyside's Lucille Rohman notched a pair of Bingos in ladies play at Black Rock Creek Golf Course last week.
Play of the day for the 18-hole ladies group was "Bingo," in which each golfer is given a Bingo card. The squares on the card are marked with golf terms, such as birdie, bogey, out-of-bounds and in-the-water. The golfers who can match their play to the marked squares, and who score the most Bingos, are the winners.
Rohman was a two-time Bingo winner, although Connie Davis and Marjean Laverman each came up with one Bingo of their own.
In the weekly "Low Putts" side contest last week, Cheryl DeVoe got around the 18 holes with the fewest putts, just 29 in all. Patti Hart was nipping on her heels with 30 putts.
The only birdie of the day was claimed by Delores Dasso, who chipped her ball into the cup from off the green on the par-3 ninth.
