GHS senior CWAC's top offensive player

Grandview High School senior Oryian Matheny has been selected as the CWAC Girls Soccer League's offensive player of the year.

The one other Grandview player afforded all-league honors was senior Karissa Trinidad. She is one of four forwards named to the all-league second team.

Matheny joins mid-fielders Keilin Farrand of Ellensburg, Alison Alderman of West Valley and Ashley Kuhlmann of Selah on the CWAC all-league first team.

Other all-league first team selections include forwards Alyssa Wickenhagen and Courtney Wells, both of West Valley, and Sarah Bersing of Selah and Trew Tucker of Ellensburg; defenders Lindsay Burns of West Valley, Brittney Snyder of Ellensburg, Jazelda Garcia of Ephrata, and Selah's Amber Reiber and Ashley Wilkey; as well as goalkeeper Kayla Brissey of Ephrata.

Selah's Todd Martin was named the 2012 CWAC coach of the year.
