Eliezer Mendoza, 65 of Sunnyside passed away on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012.

Eliezer was born Dec. 18, 1946 in Coalcoman, Michoacan, Mexico to Ramiro and Maria (Ramos) Mendoza.

He received his early education in Mexico.

On Nov. 30, 1969 he married Trinidad Ibarra in Los Angeles, Calif.

Eliezer worked as an orchard foreman.

He enjoyed fishing, making scarves for his entire family, baseball, socializing, playing practical jokes and practice shooting.

He was a member of Paracaidistas International QRZ-X19 CB club and a member of Zillah Resurrection Catholic Church.

Eliezer is survived by his loving wife, Trinidad Mendoza of Sunnyside; his children, Maria (Juventino) Arredondo of Federal Way, Estela (Antonio) Cardenas of Outlook, Tony (Rosa) Mendoza of Zillah, Lisette (Mario) Chavez and Crystal Noemi (Jesus) Aguilar, all of Sunnyside; 15 grandchildren with another on the way; and two great-grandchildren; his siblings, Delfina, Jose, Maria (Niki), David, Anita, Jesus and Santiago.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Salud and Margarita; and one grandchild, Belinda Delgado.

Mass of Christian Burial was held today, Sept. 5, 2012, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
