Foursome brings Gospel tunes to music jamboree

MABTON - The featured musicians for Gospel music jamboree this Sunday in Mabton is the Gospel Messengers Quartet.

This Yakima based group has performed in churches all over eastern and western Washington as well as many regional concerts and events. Singing under the Lords scripture banner of Psalms 96:1, this quartet formally known as "Warm Up Music Group" has opened for many nationally known touring groups such as: Phil Cross, Dixie Melody Boys, Kingsmen, the Beene's, Perfect Heart, Crossroads New Revival, the Nelson's Liberty Quartet and more.

Being blessed with supporters to provide prayer, sound equipment, technical support and media, the group saw and felt the Lord's calling by blending the hearts and voices of four men to sing His praises.

The members of the group include Clarence Crow, bass and second tenor; Dave Robbins, lead and baritone; Tom Gaulke, first tenor and sound; and Dale Mapes, bass and sound.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy their ministry Sunday, Sept. 16, at 2 p.m. at the Grace Brethren Church in Mabton.

The jamboree is free of charge (donations at the door) and welcomes any musician to participate at the open microphone event.
