Marjorie F. Bleyhl, 90, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Columbia Basin Care Center in The Dalles, Ore.
Marjorie was born July 30, 1922 in Sunnyside, the daughter of George and Iva (Richardson) Perrin.
She was educated through the eighth grade at the Belma School District.
In 1939 Marjorie married Frederick G. Bender, they later divorced. In 1972 Marjorie married Carl Bleyhl, he preceded her in death.
Marjorie was a homemaker all of her life. She lived in Grandview for many years before moving to Sun Terrace Assisted Living in Sunnyside, later moving to The Dalles, Ore.
Marjorie owned and operated 24 Flavors Café in Grandview for several years. Marjorie and Carl also owned and operated an antique store.
Marjorie and Carl enjoyed traveling over all the Western states in their motor home while antiquing and site seeing.
Marjorie was active in the Grandview Senior Center, Bleyhl Community Library and Museum while she lived in Grandview. Marjorie attended church at each assisted living facility.
Marjorie is survived by two sons; Harold (Janice) Bender of Grandview and Alan Bender of Ocean Park; seven daughters; Barbara (Don) Williams of Goldendale, Shirley Allen of Sunnyside, Eva (Claud) Linch of San Diego, Calif., Auton "Autie" (Robert) Bergman of Longview, Sharon (Victor) Beierle of Sunnyside, Phyllis (Doug) Peterson of Lubbock, Texas and Charlotte (Robert) Williams of Bickleton; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ivan (Edna) Perrin of Hermiston, Ore.; sisters-in-law, Susan Perrin of Kennewick, Helen Perrin of Hermiston, Ore. and Lillian Griffin of Yakima; and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was preceded in death by one son, Eugene F. Bender; two daughters, Mary Bender and Wanda Rockwell; brothers, Clayton, John and Larry Perrin; sisters, Evelyn Anderson, Mona Carr, Ilene Dion and Virginia Shadwick; grandson, Jerome Bender; two sons-in-laws, Harold "Speed" Mottice and Robert Allen; and daughter-in-law, Carol Bender.
Viewing and visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview, with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
