Artz-Fox honor roll students announced

MABTON - Officials at Mabton's Artz-Fox Elementary School have named the top academic achievers for the third quarter of the 2012-13 scholastic year.

Students who achieved marks of all A's were named to the Principal's List. Those academic standouts include first graders Omar Alcaraz and Alex Roth; third graders Estefani Espinoza, Verenice Aviles, Aruturo Esquivel, Andrew McCallum, Jorge Morales and Jaime Tovar; fourth graders Anissa Sanchez and Karina Garzon; fifth graders Adrian Enriquez, Astrid Galarza and Jesus Mata; and sixth graders Jared Esquivel, Bella Velasquez, Juliady Marenco, Kaitlyn Ott, Litzy Velasquez, Marco Sagrero, Makaylaw Castellanos, Michelle Zavala, Scheccid Valle and Steven Arellano.

Many other students at Artz-Fox have been named to the third-quarter honor roll for maintaining at least a 'B' average. Those academic achievers include kindergateners Isabella Garcia, Mia Rodriguez, Marco Espinoza, Vicente Barrios, Kiara Torres, Roberto Jimenez, Maritza Galarza, Angel Saucedo, Vanessa Delgado, Jasmin Chavez, Ashley Macedo, Nahomi Cisneros, Aundrae Carreon, Jasslyn Torres, Nancy Rojas, Yuritzi Ochoa, Naisa Peralez, Joana Mata, Daisy Avila, Horacio Piña, Kevin Cisneros, Jonah Salinas, Lisa Arrellano, Francisco Moreno, Fernando Miranda, Nancy Medina, Angel Garcia, Savannah Almaguer, Manuel Birrueta, Ricky McCain, Pedro Jacinto, Alexa Magallon, Jonathan Espinoza, Julian Jalifi Diamond Sanchez, Emmy Gonzalez, Elizabeth Martinez, Esmeralda Avila and Esmeralda Sanchez.

Sixth graders at the Mabton elementary school earning third-quarter honor roll status are Alexis Espinoza, Pedro Espinoza, Yessica Yepez, Kassandra Vargas, Lyndsey Roy, Jessica Velasquez, Jose Morales, Jose Hurtado, Jorge Espinoza, Mercedes Becerra, Karina Garzon and Hannah Roy.
