MABTON - Complaints of speeding vehicles in the area of Pine Street and Sixth Street were brought to the Mabton City Council's attention Tuesday night.
Citizens said customers who frequent an auto repair business near Pine Street spend a great deal of time checking out the completed repairs at high rates of speeds between stop signs in the area.
The citizens feared for the safety of children in the area, and asked that more patrols be made in the area.
City Clerk Ret Stewart encouraged the citizens to meet with her today (Wednesday) to complete a citizens complaint report.
