Cops kept on the move in Grandview

GRANDVIEW – Police in Grandview were kept hopping this past weekend with more than 50 calls since Friday morning.

Officers spent a good portion of that time checking out nine reports of suspicious activity and nine reports of traffic problems. Police also investigated four automatic alarms.

Two thefts were also reported to police yesterday (Sunday). A vehicle was stolen from the 700 block of East Washington Street and another theft of unspecified items was reported from the 1700 block of West Second Street.

Grandview police also arrested a wanted person and made an arrest in an assault case.

Since Friday morning Grandview police have also handled an animal problem, two civil matters, two reports of court order violations, a citizen complaint, four reports of domestic problems, a report of trespassing, two noise complaints, a report of malicious mischief and a report of illegal burning.

In that time officers also recovered a stolen vehicle, conducted three welfare checks, provided assistance to citizens twice, took two informational calls and provided two agency assists.
