Sticky fingers cause problems

Yakima County Sheriff deputies responded to two theft reports in the Lower Valley yesterday (Tuesday).

A report of a stolen radio and candy came from the 5700 block of Van Belle Road near Outlook. A different report from the 600 block of Glade Road near Mabton listed $2,000 worth of steel pipe having been taken.

Deputies also responded to a burglary report in the 4600 block of Gap Road near Outlook. The victim reported a snowboard, computer and tools had been stolen in the break-in.

Deputies also handled two accident reports, conducted a welfare check and responded to an emergency medical situation yesterday.
