Drop-in program for youngsters GRANDVIEW – The Grandview Community Center at 812 Wallace Way is the site for the youth drop-in program for ages 6 to 18.

Participants enjoy the use of the gymnasium and game room.

The summer schedule for this program is Monday through Thursday - 2:30 to 5 p.m. (schedule is subject to change).

The annual program fee is $10 per (city resident) and $20 per (non-city resident). A parent signature is required at the time of registration.

Dance classes begin in September GRANDVIEW – The Grandview Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a six-week session of ballroom dance classes every Tuesday beginning Sept. 24, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Grandview Community Center gymnasium (812 Wallace Way).

The cost is $30 per couple ($40 for non-city residents). Singles are encouraged to join at half the fee.

No experience is necessary.

The class will teach Fox Trot, Swing, Night Club Two-Step, Cha Cha, Tango, Waltz, and more! For more information, contact the parks and recreation office at 882-9219 or instructor Jim Ide at 952-9765.
