Outlook woman sustains injuries in I-82 rollover PROSSER – An Outlook woman, 20-year-old Adeleny Pacheco, suffered injuries last night in a one-vehicle rollover accident.

Washington State Patrol officials report Pacheco was westbound on I-82 at about 7:45 p.m. Thursday evening, near milepost 80 in the Prosser vicinity. The 2003 Jeep Liberty she was driving veered off the roadway to the right and rolled.

WSP troopers say Pacheco was not wearing a safety restraint.

She was transported to Prosser Memorial Hospital. Her Jeep Liberty was totaled.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, and charges are pending.

Deputies stay busy yesterday Yakima County Sheriff deputies responded to 10 calls from the Lower Valley yesterday (Thursday), including three reports of domestic problems, an automatic alarm and a report of fraud.

Arrest made in vehicle theft GRANDVIEW – Police in Grandview arrested Is-rael Omar Perez, 19, of Grandview as the suspect in a vehicle theft reported yesterday morning. The owner of a van parked downtown left the keys in the vehicle. It was stolen and driven several blocks before being parked and abandoned.

Officers also cited a driver yesterday for DUI after a vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Grandridge and Apricot roads.

Yesterday Grandview police also responded to two theft reports, two reports of malicious mischief, three reports of suspicious activity, five traffic incidents, a missing person report, a report of an animal problem and a report of an intoxicated person.

Grandview police also provided two agency assists and took an informational call yesterday.

Suspicious activities noted Sunnyside police were unable to locate two suspicious-looking individuals who were reported as carrying black garbage bags and what appeared to be rifles or shotguns along Yakima Valley Highway yesterday morning (Thursday).

Despite a thorough search of the area near the 2500 block of Yakima Valley Highway, officers were unable to locate anyone fitting the description of the individuals.

In other suspicious circumstances reported during the past 24 hours, officers investigated a call from the 1400 block of Saul Road. The reporting party complained of a white male sitting in a stairway drinking a beer, talking on a telephone. Officers were unable to locate the individual.

In a third suspicious incident, police were called to the 1200 block of Yakima Valley Highway to investigate a report of a person jumping a fence and driving off in a vehicle, last seen headed south on 13th Street. The officers were unable to locate the vehicle or the driver.

In other activity, police also investigated two domestic incidents, three animal complaints, one juvenile problem and three alarms. Officers also made four traffic stops.
