Water storage remains strong

Though winter snows have yet to hit the passes with full force, the irrigation water supply for the Yakima River Basin remains strong.

That’s according to Dave Bos, SVID’s assistant manager responsible for operations. During a report to SVID’s board yesterday, Tuesday, Bos noted the current storage level is at 125 percent compared to a 30-year average for this time of year.
