Lady Knights dominate

Sunnyside Christian’s Stormee Van Belle dribbles the ball down the court at last Friday’s home game against 2B Waitsburg Prescott. The Lady Knights took an early lead in the game and finished with a 77-26 victory. Van Belle had 21 points and eight rebounds in the game, which had a running clock for the second half. “We had a great first half, especially the first quarter,” said Sunnyside Christian Coach Al Smeenk. “(We) like to get out and run.” Also scoring in double figures for the Lady Knights were Katelyn Banks (17 points), Kristen Broersma (12 points) and Brittany Broersma (10 points). Sunnyside Christian travels to Riverside Christian this Friday, Dec. 13, then hosts Mabton on Saturday, Dec. 14.
