My name is Joy Santee and I am representing the PEACEMAKERS Motorcycle Ministry.
We had a sleeping bag drive in Yakima for the homeless in the Yakima Valley and we were able to donate needed items to two homeless shelters in Yakima and also to one in Sunnyside.
I just want to say “Thank You” to each of the wonderful businesses in Sunnyside that supported our sleeping bag drive in Sunnyside. I want everyone in Sunnyside to know and support the following businesses which were and are phenomenal. Each of them gave from their hearts to the homeless. They include Pat and Ann from the Best Western Grapevine Inn, Carlos from the Sunnyside Thrift Store, Ron from Farmers Insurance, Erin from Dutch Bros. Coffee, Alfonzo and Antonio from Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership, Gini from AFLAC Insurance, Rob and Kent from Sunnyside Ace Hardware, and Kathy and Jr. from Grandview, who donated two sleeping bags
I also want to thank the Daily Sun News for placing an article in the newspaper about the PEACEMAKERS Motorcycle Ministry. Keep up the great job.
