Robot engineers

The Sunnyside High School VEX robotics team has earned a place at the state VEX competition taking place on Feb. 16 in Toppenish, according to Coach Spencer Martin. The partnership of Sebastian Castellanos and Cody Woodworth (L-R), along with three other local VEX team members, earned first-place honors at a robotics competition hosted by the SHS team. The team also earned second-place honors recently at a competition at Central Washington University.
