Kimberly Vinyard, 51, of Grandview passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, with her family by her side.

She was born Nov. 20, 1961 in Port Angles to Kenneth and Susan Vinyard. While growing up she attended Zillah High School with her sisters, Teresa and Vinnie.

She loved spending time with her two sons, Kenneth and Kevin.

Kimberly had a passion for animals and every time she saw a stray animal she would pick them up and find them a home.

Our mother and sister will be greatly missed.

Kimberly is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Calvert and Kevin Calvert, both of Grandview; two sisters, Teresa Henry of Granger and Vinnie Robinson of Grandview; three brothers, Tom Balay and Les Robinson, both of Grandview, and Randy Robinson of Seattle; many nieces and nephews; and her stepfather, Bill Borland of Yakima.

Kimberley was preceded in death by her mother, Susan; and her father, Kenneth.

Anyone who would like to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman is welcome to a memorial service to be held Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the home of Vinnie Robinson in Grandview.

Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in charge of arrangements.
