Area students earn degrees from UW

SEATTLE - Four University of Washington students from Sunnyside earned their Bachelor's degrees during commencement ceremonies held this past June on the Seattle campus. The recent University of Washington graduates from Sunnyside include Carlos Jr. Garcia, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science; Lionel Garcia, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in society ethics and human behavior; Brenda Barrios, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in comparative history of ideas, sociology; and Alejandra Alanis, who collected a Bachelor of Arts in business administration-finance. Grandview residents earning their colleges degrees include Catalina R. Alvarez with a Bachelor of Arts in society, ethics and human behavior; Gloribel Jimenez Mondragon, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration; Teresa R. Charvet, who earned her Bachelor of Sciences in clinical health and services; and Joseph A. Villanueva, who earned his Bachelor of Arts in society, ethics and human behavior. Granger residents earning their university degrees include Shayla Marie Trevino, who earned her Bachelor of Arts in early childhood and family studies; Abigail Elizabeth Biehl, who earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing; and Yuridia Equihua, who earned a Bachelor of Art in political science, law, societies and justice.
