Princess Prep slated for Aug. 17

Girls who want to be princesses are invited to spend a day with the 2012-13 Miss Sunnyside Court and 2013-14 candidates for the Miss Sunnyside Pageant learning about nail painting, pageant walking and how to wave like a princess. The Princess Prep event, open to girls ages 5 to 12, will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, in Teri Alvarez-Ziegler's classroom (131) at Sunnyside High School. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $40 and the deadline to turn in the fee and registration form is Monday, Aug. 5. Forms can be picked up and turned in at the Daily Sun News office. Every participant will receive a t-shirt and crown and a sack lunch will be provided for the day. Include t-shirt size on the registration. Participants will also get the opportunity to participate in this fall's Sunshine Days Parade.
