WSU Cougar baseball camp in Sunnyside on Aug. 13-14

A WSU Cougar baseball camp will be held at Sunnyside's South Hill Park Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 13-14. Coach Michael McNaughton of the WSU baseball coaching staff will be leading the camp. Cougars Head Coach Donnie Marbut is planning to help youngsters as well. Youth ages 7 to 12 are urged to attend the camp during which they will learn about commitment, teamwork, sportsmanship and baseball skills. The cost to attend the two-day camp is $80, which includes receiving a t-shirt. Local baseball coaches have an opportunity to attend a coaches clinic at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. The camp for the youngsters will be from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Registrations must be received by Friday, Aug. 9.
