Pat Schilperoort, 96, of Outlook passed away at her home on Thursday, March 14, 2013.

Pat was born March 15, 1916 in Touchet, the daughter of Cornelius and Elzonia (Cole) Campbell. She received her education in Waitsburg.

Pat was an apartment landlord for seven years and worked for Yakima Bait Co. for 12 years.

She loved canning, sewing, cooking and gardening.

Pat was president of the Granger PTA and on the board of Boyville in Mabton, charter member of Roza Dust Dodgers, Moose Lodge, and a lifetime member of the First Christian Church.

Pat was a kind and loving person, her door was always opened to anyone who needed a meal or a home. She truly never turned anyone away who was in need.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Pat is survived by three children, Anmaree McDaniel of Outlook, Mark (Janet) Schilperoort of Sunnyside, and Larry (Donna) Northwind of Wenatchee; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Reith and Walter Campbell; four sisters, Devaughn, Barbara, Laura and Geneva; two sons, Gerry and T.J.; one daughter, Susan; one grandson, Michael; and one son-in-law, Gene.

Viewing and visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2013, from noon to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2013, at 10 am at United Methodist Church in Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Christian Church or Lower Valley Hospice.
