SHS class of '88 plans 25th reunion

The Sunnyside High School class of 1988 will be holding its 25th reunion June 21-22.

On Friday, June 21, classmates and their families will gather for a barbecue complete with a bonfire, music, drinks, volleyball and yard games.

Children are welcome to attend the event on June 21, which will take place beginning at 6 p.m. at 2290 Ray Rd., otherwise known as the property owned by Valerie King's parents.

Those attending Friday's activities are urged to bring lawn chairs.

Saturday, June 22, a winery tour is planned during the day and a semi-formal social gathering and dinner are planned for the evening.

The winery tour will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Prosser.

The dinner, drinks and social gathering will take place at El Valle in Sunnyside at 6 p.m.

The cost to attend the reunion is $10 per adult, which will cover expenses for food, set-up and decorating. Money must be received no later than Friday, May 17.

Also, classmates are urged to submit any photographs, past and present, they may have for a slide show King is designing.
